Komatsu’s excavator operating hours decline in China but rise in other regions in Jan 2025

Recently, Komatsu officially released the operating hours of its excavators for January 2025. The data showed that the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in China for January were 66.2 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 17.2%.

In January 2025, except for China, the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in Japan, North America, Europe, and Indonesia all achieved year-on-year growth. The specific data were as follows:

In Japan, the operating hours of Komatsu excavators in January were 50 hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.8% and a month-on-month increase of 1.8%.

In Europe, the operating hours were 61 hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.6% and a month-on-month increase of 16.4%.

In North America, the operating hours were 61.5 hours, a year-on-year increase of 6.4% and a month-on-month increase of 14.3%.

In Indonesia, the operating hours were 194.1 hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.2% and a month-on-month increase of 0.4%.
