China's excavator and loader sales & exports rise in Jan 2025

According to the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA), excavator and loader sales in January 2025 showed steady growth, driven by strong exports.

Excavators:
Total Sales: 12,512 units, up 1.1% year-on-year.
Domestic Sales: 5,405 units, down 0.3% year-on-year.
Exports: 7,107 units, up 2.19% year-on-year.
Electric Excavators: 18 units sold, mainly in the 18.5-28.5-ton range (10 units).

Loaders:
Total Sales: 7,920 units, up 1.51% year-on-year.
Domestic Sales: 3,706 units, down 1.01% year-on-year.
Exports: 4,214 units, up 3.84% year-on-year.
Electric Loaders: 1,086 units sold, led by 5-ton models (720 units).

Overall, exports drove growth for both categories. Electric machinery sales, though small, are rising. Domestic sales dipped slightly, reflecting market maturity.
