China’s export value of construction machinery reached US$27.90 billion​ in the first five months of 2026, marking a 20.8% year-on-year increase. This growth builds on a high base from 2025, indicating sustained momentum above historical trends.

Regional Distribution:​ Asia remains the dominant market (39.5% share). Africa stands out with the fastest growth, surging 51.7% YoY. Markets along the Belt and Road Initiative accounted for 43%​ of total exports, acting as a stabilizing anchor.
