China’s excavator sales rise in Sep, strengthening construction machinery market recovery

China’s total excavator sales in September reached 15,831 units, marking a year-on-year growth of 10.8%.

From April to September, the market saw six consecutive months of positive growth. Domestic sales reached 7,610 units, a significant year-on-year increase of 21.5%, surpassing CME’s expectations.

The period from March to September also marked seven consecutive months of positive domestic sales growth. Meanwhile, exports stood at 8,221 units, growing by 2.5% year-on-year, with positive export growth recorded in both August and September.

It is anticipated that the positive growth trend in domestic sales will continue, with a possibility of further growth in exports as well, showing a recovery of the construction machinery market.
