Statistics of construction machinery industry in Dec 2023 and outlook for 2024

China Construction Machinery Industry Association’s data showed that 16,698 excavators of various types were sold in December 2023, down by 1.01% year on year, with 7,625 units in the Chinese domestic market, up by 24% year on year. 9,418 loaders of various types were sold in the period, an increase of 11.9% over the previous year, of which domestic market sales volume was 5,599 units, up by 8.5% year on year.

In 2024, China’s infrastructure construction, real estate, and other sectors may stabilize and even show signs of improvement. As a result, the construction machinery industry is likely to achieve steady growth.
