Komatsu excavator operating hours surge in Sep, reflecting recovery in China’s construction market

Komatsu recently released data on the operating hours of its excavators for September 2024, showing that in China, the operating hours reached 95.3 hours, an increase of 6.9% year-on-year, reflecting the recovery of China’s construction and engineering market and the industry’s confidence.

Indonesia recorded the highest operating hours at 216.5 hours, while Europe had 74.3 hours, with a year-on-year growth of 0.8%. Japan and North America, on the other hand, saw slight declines.
