Engineering machinery industry expected to enter new cycle of equipment renewal from Q2, 2024

Previously, China’s engineering machinery concept stocks surged. Some brokerages believe that the equipment renewal cycle for engineering machinery may be approaching, and large-scale equipment renewal policies are expected to boost market recovery.

The last upward cycle of the engineering machinery cycle was from 2016 to 2020. According to an 8-year service life, the last round of sales equipment is now in a large-scale replacement period. The replacement low point is expected to be in 2023, with the volume of replacements starting to increase year by year from 2024 onwards, and the industry’s beta margin is improving.
