China’s excavator sales in Apr surpass expectations, overseas market forecasted to grow steadily

Data shows that in April, China’s domestic excavator sales reached nearly 11,000 units, up by 13% year on year, while exports totaled about 8,000 units, down by 13% year on year.

Excavator sales in April exceeded expectations, projecting a low-to-high trend for the full year. Also, the construction machinery market is showing signs of recovery, driven by equipment renewal policies and the implementation of national bond projects.

Despite temporary pressure on excavator exports due to last year’s high base, the overall market is still experiencing steady growth. Domestic companies are poised to gain market share through technological, product, and service advantages.
