China’s construction machinery trade volume increases in Jan-Feb y-o-y

According to data from China’s customs, in January 2024, China’s import and export trade volume of construction machinery was about US$4.31 billion, up by 5.21% year on year. Among them, the import value was US$201 million, increasing by 3.01% compared to the same month a year ago. The export value was US$4.11 billion, growing by 5.32% year on year.

In February 2024, China’s import and export trade volume of construction machinery was US$3.54 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.66%. Among them, the import value was US$181 million, down by 3.79% year on year. The export value was US$3.36 billion, increasing by 8.36% year on year.

From January to February, China’s import and export trade volume of construction machinery was US$7.86 billion, growing by 6.3% from the corresponding period a year ago. Among them, the import value was US$382.5 million, slightly decreasing by 0.33% compared with the same period last year. On the contrary, the export value was US$7.473 billion, up by 6.67% year on year.
