China’s construction machinery sector demonstrated a stable recovery in April 2026. The average operating rate reached 45.09% (+3.6 p.p. MoM), while measurable workload increased by 12.55% MoM.

Segment Highlights:
Port Logistics: Utilization hit 37.34% (+7.65% YoY). Reach stackers led growth with a +10.69% YoY surge.

Lifting Operations: Maintained high activity at 73.43% utilization (+2.54% YoY).

Concrete Works: Operating rate stood at 44.96% (+4.68% YoY).

Outlook:Nine equipment subcategories, including transit mixers and crawler cranes, recorded double-digit growth (YoY & MoM), signaling a comprehensive peak season effect across the supply chain.
