Oct construction machinery operating rates show modest increases

According to the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the average operating rate for major construction machinery products in October 2024 was 65.1%, up 1.31% from the previous month.

Among the products:

Excavators: 70%

Loaders: 63.9%

Truck Cranes: 80.1%

Crawler Cranes: 63.5%

Tower Cranes: 47.5%

Rollers: 57.8%

Pavers: 83.4%

Rotary Drilling Rigs: 55%

Off-Road Mining Dump Trucks: 55.5%

Concrete Pump Trucks: 45.3%

Concrete Mixers: 47.9%

Forklifts: 41.1%

The average working hours for these machines in October were 88.9 hours, showing a 1.24% decrease compared to the previous month.

Notable working hours:

Excavators: 84.4 hours

Loaders: 82.9 hours

Truck Cranes: 126 hours

Crawler Cranes: 105 hours

Pavers: 76.2 hours

Forklifts: 65.6 hours
