China’s sales of various excavators totals 17,824 units, up by 6.04% YoY

In May 2024, sales of various excavators reached 17,824 units, up 6.04% Yoy. Domestic sales were 8,518 units, a 29.2% increase, while exports were 9,306 units, an 8.92% decrease.

From January to May 2024, total excavator sales were 86,610 units, down 6.92% Yoy. Domestic sales for this period increased by 1.81% to 45,746 units, whereas exports dropped by 15.1% to 40,864 units.

The market is showing signs of recovery, exceeding expectations.
